Isabelle Zhizhi Southwood

Isabelle Zhizhi Southwood lives and works in London. Southwood has a mixed cultural background, having dual Chinese and British heritage and growing up in The Netherlands. She attended The Slade School of Fine Art, University College London, receiving the Grocers’ Queen’s Golden Jubilee Scholarship and on graduating in 2013, was awarded the Clare Winsten Memorial Award. After graduating, Southwood co-founded Turf Projects, an artist run contemporary art space and charity in South London. Previous exhibitions Southwood has been part of include Polycephaly: I.
