Emily studied at Norwich School of Art and Design BA (Hons),(1999-2002) and MFA (2002-2003). She has exhibited in galleries including Danielle Arnaud and Transition Gallery, London, Outpost Gallery, Norwich, Project Space Leeds and Kettles Yard, Cambridge. Her work is held in collections in Berlin, Luxembourg and the UK. She has lectured in Fine Art and Critical Studies at Norwich University College of the Arts.
