Déjà vu/There around me somewhere right now is an immersive experience where the viewer is confronted with a parallel existence. The event consists of three simultaneous performances featuring recurrent characters from Mota’s films. The work takes the shape of an allegorical ensemble and is an exploration of cultural and religious meanings through a contemporary interpretation.

Luisa Mota is an artist whose work develops through a wide range of media including performance, video, photography and sculpture. She currently has a film project that runs parallel to her artistic practice called Anti-House, which explores the themes of her practice at large: perception, human behaviour and the collective unconscious.
