Jack Klaff is a noted 'deipnosophist' - someone who excels at dinner parties. This new work, which is all about eating, is directed by Colin Watkeys. Klaff draws on legend, recipe books, news reports, personal experience and works by Kafka, Binyon, Levi, Munch, Bacon, Bosch and Picasso. Presented at a time when 1.3 billion people on earth are regarded as obese, 1.3 billion are living below the breadline and a quarter of the world's children are malnourished, this is a searingly satirical production featuring a multi-award-winning artist.
