Actress, singer, composer and a soprano coloratura, Alessandra Maestrini has an impressive four-octave range voice and moves with ease between different musical styles. Highly regarded in the Brazilian musical scene, Maestrini has starred in musicals including Les Miserables, RENT, Opera do Malandro and New York New York. Also a comedienne, she took Brazil by storm in the series Toma La Da Ca' by Maria Carmen Barbosa and Miguel Falabella. In 2012 she launched her first solo album, Drama N' Jazz in Rio and Paris.

Incorporating sets designed by Gringo Cardia and other artists from the Occupation, Alessandra Maestrini creates musical and theatrical performances, blending various musical styles with British musicians in a cabaret atmosphere. The artist sails through the music scene from Rio de Janeiro, incorporating elements of world music adopted by British musicians. The work is created and presented at the Roundhouse in London.
