Appau Jnr Boakye-Yiadom (b. 1984) is an artist from London, UK. He obtained his Post Graduate Diploma from the Royal Academy Schools in 2008. A multidisciplinary artist, Boakye-Yiadom creates hybrid performances and installations, kinetically combined to form a language of connectivity and multiplicity. Recent shows include Michael Jackson on The Wall, National Portrait Gallery, London (2018); Scenes From a Chasm, Cuchifritos Gallery & Project Space, New York (2018); Naming Rights, Thomas Dane Gallery, London (2017); ’Untitled', The Sonic Cosmologies of Halim El-Dabh, Dak’Art Biennale 2018, Dakar (2018); New Art Exchange, Nottingham, England, Touring Exhibition (2017); Critical Contemplation with 198 Contemporary Arts and Learning, Tate Modern, London (2017). In 2017, Boakye-Yiadom was a recipient of the Jerwood Visual Arts Artist Bursary.
